Welcome to The Pure Body Company, a company that specialises in massage and soft tissue therapies, sugaring hair removal and vegan beauty. Janet started her career in the industry as a qualified Hairdresser, Beautician and Wig maker, (yes she had to learn how to create a weave and a toupee when she was in college), over 40 years ago.

She took her skills to Germany and the USA before settling back in the UK. After taking time out of the industry when she had her son, Janet decided University was the way forward. Achieving a BA (Hons) in Business and stepping into Management roles for a number High profile companies. In 2008 Janet retrained as a therapist, and found her niche, by working as a Bodywork and Beauty Therapist.

Janet’s specialist areas include Soft Tissue therapies including, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, including Deep Tissue and MAT techniques. The Beauty therapy work she performs includes Sugaring and specialises in Aesthetic Vegan Beauty, using fascia work incorporating Blend Fascial Facials and Aromatherapy based vegan products only, within all our therapies. Working very closely with Blend Therapy, Janet is as a TMJ therapist and Tutor. New To our offering is Blend Scar Therapy providing some amazing results, releasing the tethering caused by scar tissue. We also host a number of events and training seminars within the SE1 area, Starting with our first BlendTMJ1 workshop in June 2026. More information will be available soon.

The Pure Body Company, was established in 2010 and we offer a wide range of face-to-face and online therapeutic treatments. Having studied with TYPO, (Take Your Practice online) we are able to offer video link therapies on those occasions when you are unable to come and see us, we are also registered TMJSOS therapists, which offers video support and a free initial 30 minute consultation online. TPBC works with a network of accredited Health Care professionals and therapists that can support you in any additional therapy treatments, just ask for a recommendation. From Osteopaths and Sports Massage to Lymphatic Drainage & Nutrition, PT and MMA training.

Most recently Janet will be teaching the L3 Reflexology course to qualified therapists at City Lit College, London, the next intake starts from April 2026. See the link above for all courses.

We offer professional and non professional courses from The Art of Home Sugaring and various private groups, ‘Aging Disgracefully’ & Simply Sleep teaching you how you can support some of your treatments and beauty needs in between your appointment with us. How long will it take to get an appointment?
Can I book an appointment for my child?
We can treat children under 16 as long as a parent or guardian are present. Our Aromatherapy, Reflexology and BlendTMJ therapies are known for bringing relief to children as they are so gentle. Book as normal and in the notes that you are booking the appointment for your child. Once the booking is confirmed with an email you can also text us to ensure the therapist is aware and prepared for the appointment.
What if I need an interpreter?

Please speak with your GP or nutritionist in order to ensure you are on track for the correct nutrition for your health needs. We do offer the Isagenix programme with The Art of Wellbeing. an International supplement and nutrition company used by our team, who are able to guide you through the mindfield of reaching health goals.

We would always refer to amedical professional for anythingoutside our scope of practice, we are able to give information, not diagnose, over the phone and video chat. we do require a consultation form to be completed first, where upon a booking and fee will be confirmed, we are qualified to provide guidance for Blend TMJ online and provide yo with a guided tuition for ongoing self treatment. If you require this service please speak to Janet who can arrange the correct channels enabeling you to receive the correct online support and video support.
Struggling To Wake Up In The Morning?
Sleep deprivation is one of the greatest causes of declining health. There may be some simple techniques and treatments we can discuss and put into place to make significant improvements. As an OSA sufferer, lack of sleep and how to improve it is one of Janet’s passions. In the first instance book a Reflexology or Aromatherapy session and we can work together to improve your sleep hygiene naturally. Afternoon and early evening appointments available.
Skincare analysis and which products can I usethat are natural
As qualified Aromatherapists and Tropic Skincare ambassadors, we can guide you through a skincare analysis and select the correct products for your skin type. All Tropic skincare products a created within our ethos of ‘As close to Nature as possible’ when it comes to anything we put on or in our bodies.

Janet has also taught skincare preparation short courses for over 10 years and small groups can be arranged with specific products made and allow you to recreate at home.
